About Ron Friesen
Ron is from the West Coast but has lived all over, including California, Oregon,
Washington, Illinois, and of course Florida. Ron worked for a Fortune 100
company for the first 15 years after graduation from College. Ron worked his way
up to the home office in Chicago and then decided to start his own Marketing
Agency which he ran for 11 years until moving to Florida. In Florida Ron decided
to get into Real Estate and then started Beach Sunsets. Ron has sold and listed over
$1.0B in Real Estate here in South Walton. The decision to get into Real Estate and
Long Term Rentals started in 2003, at the urging of the family.
Beach Sunsets is a true Family Business with Rons’ wife Colleen working as the
Senior Finance Officer and his Daughter-in-Law, Renee, Managing the day to day
rental affairs as the Rental Director. Ron and his team have been actively involved
in Walton County and the development of properties and rentals for over 20 years
now. Ron has served on several local area boards mainly involved with kids and
the development of civic programs that are instrumental in helping children live
better lives. Ron works daily with South Walton developers, investors and, civic
leaders to help Walton County improve our quality of life here.
